- Education Qualification : Ist class Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Zoology)/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology from a recognized university or equivalent OR 2nd Class Masters Degree in Life Sciences (Zoology)/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology with PhD Degree in relevant subject from a recognized university desirable Qualification: (i) PhD in Life Sciences (Zoology)/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology with additional Post Doctoral research/training experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute. (ii) Knowledge of computer applications and experience in data analysis using statistical software, (iii)Two years R&D/teaching experience in related subject after obtaining essential qualification

About : Regional Medical Research Centre, NE Region is one of the six regional centres of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It covers the most remote and less developed eight states of the north-eastern region of India and is responsible for carrying out Biomedical Research in the region. It was established in 1982 and runs with intramural grant from ICMR and extramural adhoc projects from different funding agencies.
