National Institute of Technology (NIT) has published notification for the recruitment of Adhoc Faculty Mechanical posts . The job is on contractual basis.   • Name of Post : Adhoc Faculty Mechanical 
  • Pay Scale : Rs. 50,000 pm (consolidated)
  • Discipline : Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
  • Qualification : Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate discipline with consistently good academic record throughout (OR) The person should have PG degree in the appropriate discipline from reputed institute with consistently good academic record throughout and also 2 years teaching experience from a reputed institute
  • Disciplines : Mathematics and Physics
  • Qualification : Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate discipline with consistently good academic record throughout (OR)  The person should have M.Tech/M.Sc. degree in the appropriate discipline from reputed institute with consistently good academic record and also 3 years teaching experience from a reputed institute
  • Age limit : 40 years
  • Mode of Selection : Walk – In

About : National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur was originally founded as Regional Institute of Technology in 1960 by Dr. Srikrishna Sinha, the then chief minister of Bihar with the aim of nurturing talent and setting high standards of education and excellence. Having been a freedom fighter himself, he chose the auspicious day of 15th August, 1960 to lay the foundation stone. Later upgraded to National Institute of Technology on 27th December, 2002, with the status of a Deemed University, it is now totally under the control of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, New Delhi since 1st April, 2003.
