Project Title:In Vitro Conservation, Essential oil Studies and Pharmacological Screening of Pimpinella wallichiana Clark (Apiaceae): An Endangered Endemic Plant Species of Western Ghats, Southern India.

Educational Qualification: MSc Botany/Biotechnlogy/Agriculture/any allied area of Life Sciences/ M.Tech Biotechnology with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Preference will be given to candidates having expertise in Plant Tissue Culture aspects and Microbiology.
Desirable: Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in microbiology and molecular biology techniques will be preferred.
Pay Scale : Candidates who have qualified any of the national level test like CSIR/UGC-NET/GATE etc. are eligible for remuneration of Rs.25000/- + 10% HRA. Others will be eligible for Rs.16000/- + 10% HRA per month based on their academic qualifications (as per DST guidelines).
